| One of the greatest advantages of the .375 Nitro Express is that it will feed perfectly from a basic 303 magazine! Here is another advantage: at the muzzle, a good stiff load from a .45-70, has an advantage over a load from the .375 Nitro Express. Between 50 and 100 yards the advantage will disappear! At 100 yards the energy advantage goes to the .375 Nitro Express. It is all about a bullet with a good ballistics coefficient!!! If you shoot Grizzlies at 50 yards or less, stick with the .45-70. If you prefer a margin of safety that allows a shot at 200 yards, the .375 Nitro Express is the way to go!!!!! |
